Customer Reviews
"Reliable, dependable and at the right price. We've used Rob for everything from Gas Safe Certification to a whole new boiler and pipe refit. 100% recommend."
"We have had a solar hot water system with tubes on our roof since 2009. In June 2025, Rob Murphy Heating visited to carry out the routine maintenance. In November 2025, we employed Rob Murphy Heating to remove the original tubes to make way for photovoltaic (PV) panels, but retaining the original pump, controllers and cylinder. After the PV fitting was completed, Rob Murphy Heating returned to install 20 new solar hot water tubes on our extension roof together with connection to the existing infrastructure. All this work at height was carried out safely with the appropriate scaffolding. We have been very pleased with Rob Murphy Heating. With Rob, we agreed the programme which accommodated our own requirements and work was completed on time. Rob is professional and will offer and discuss potential solutions to difficulties encountered. Rob Murphy Heating staff are very pleasant, work hard when on site and remove shoes when working indoors. Costs were very reasonable and we feel we got good value and quality for the money spent. We also have an appropriate guarantee for the work completed. We would highly recommend Rob Murphy Heating."
"This was a complete refurbishment of a solar hot water system, parts of which were some 30 years old. Although it was a cold drizzly day, and much of the work was outside, Rob and his partner toiled on for nearly 11 hours. Not a lot of sunshine the following day, but the system was working. Well done!"
"Excellent service by Rob. Once again. Had the boiler serviced and a gad safety check. Really prompt and responsive and good value for money. Rob had also done some boiler upgrade works for us before. Highly skilled, very friendly and overall excellent. Highly recommend Rob."
"We have used Rob Murphy for a few years now after he solved a long-standing problem with a solar thermal system that we’d had installed in 2010. Rob now does the routine servicing of our solar thermal installation, and also does our regular gas boiler and hot water cylinder servicing. We have always found him knowledgeable and helpful for any central heating problems that we have."
