Glaves Fabricated Limited

"We would highly recommend Glaves Fabricated. We have a bespoke door fabricated and installed by Alistair and his team and it fits perfectly and looks great. We have had many positive comments about it from friends. On the back of this we asked Alistair to carry out a couple more pieces of work in our garden. Again excellent work and very pleased with overall service. Professional and experienced work. Thank you Alistair"

"Excellent work from Glaves Fabricated fitting a double door and entrance door for us. Our first time using them and certainly will use again - great attention to detail, keen to do a proper job that you're entirely satisfied with, and come when they say they're coming. Courteous, helpful and polite throughout, a pleasure doing business with them."

"We found Glaves Fabrication after contact with several other local fabricators, who either weren’t interested in creating an authentic period railings design, or wanted to tell us what we should have installed! We were unusual customers, as we had a specific design drawn-up to scale as an AutoCAD document. This didn’t phase Alistair, who took our design and created a 3D model in Solid Works (and you probably won’t find any other fabricator with those skills!) The result for us, was being able to preview what the finished design would look like in-situ, against stone steps and a raised platform. The fabrication was very time-consuming for Glaves, but the time taken and the quality and uniformity of the shapes really shows in the final installation. There are some novel solutions from Glaves also, who have managed to hide all the fixings at the junctions of the railings, and even use resin to fix into the stone. The result is a stretch of show-stopping railings, which has really elevated the front our Victorian home. Alistair’s communication throughout our project was fantastic and we really got a sense that he cared that we got this right! Glaves even came to do a test-fit, prior to the steelwork undergoing the galvanising and powder-coating. We are happy to recommend Glaves Fabrication as being highly skilled, innovative and adaptive fabricators."

"Used Glaves Fabricated to make and install a hand rail and gate. Alistair Glaves provided an excellent service, manufactured and installed exactly what we wanted in a very efficient and friendly way. Would not hesitate to recommend him."

"Pleasant, polite, job well done!! Installed hand rails in my Nans garden, custom made to my Nans height (she's only small) which was brilliant as others were going to fit them at standard height which would have been too high for her. Came and measured up, really made my Nan feel at ease, no pressure to purchase. Would highly recommend!! Many thanks"
