"I have decided to write about my experience so that others will not be damaged the same way I was. I had all the windows redone in hardwood about 3 years ago. The agreement was that the windows would have been made and finished in the workshop and only installed in my house as to have minimal disruption. Instead, the panels, the frames and the architraves were brought to my house and the windows were actually made in my garden and painted when up. This was not what I was promised but, as I had paid 50% deposit and I had no windows, I accepted it: I just wanted that ordeal to be over. The work was never finished: as there was draft coming in from every window, they tried a few fixing but at a certain point the professional joiners stopped and they were substituted by a "handy man". When I sent an official request to finish the job, they stopped answering altogether. Then I tried to claim part of the payment done via credit card to pay someone else to finish the job: I discovered Arundel made me pay the glass company so they were not responsible for any malpractice. We also found out that in the 12 months (!) this odyssey lasted, they went bust twice. I have now found the sealing was never done properly, water is getting into the frame and the wood is rotting after 3 years from installing. I have another company trying to limit the damage although they cannot guarantee the result."
"Don't waste your time with this company. The individual I dealt with in this company clearly had no interest even in coming to look at the job I needed doing. Initially there was a promise to get back to me - this never happened. Because I liked the look of the website so much, I decided to give him another chance by ringing again a month or so later. This resulted in an agreed date and time for a visit and a quote. The outcome was a no-show, and I never heard from him again after that. Don't be fooled by these companies with attractive websites. They probably only care about large-scale / commercial work, and they are not interested in your trivial little residential job. They clearly donβt even feel it is necessary to treat you with common courtesy. Save yourself a headache and just take your business elsewhere."
